Terms & Conditions

1. The Greener Camping Club

2. Payment & Cancellation

A deposit secures your camping pitch or glamping stay. Please note that the deposit includes full payment for your Greener Camping Club membership. Balance is required six weeks prior to arrival date. Bookings after this date require full payment. Should accident or injury occur we will endeavour to work with you to fill your dates & return your fee or offer alternative dates. Last minute cancellations less than 7 days prior to arrival incur full fees to be paid unless we can fill them. We always advise taking out holiday insurance.

3. Cancellation by Us

Belan Bluebell Woods reserves the right to cancel a camping or glamping holiday at short notice if we are unable to provide safe accommodation or camping environment, due to extreme weather conditions, ill health, fire, flooding or any other extenuating circumstances within or beyond our control. Under such circumstances, your full payment will be returned to you. Belan Bluebell Woods cannot accept liability or responsibility for any loss, including consequential loss, caused by cancellation.

4. Children, Dogs & Safety

Our aim is for children to have a truly magical back to nature experience. But please be aware Belan Bluebells is a working farm and parents are responsible for the supervision of their children at all times.

There are many opportunities for play and adventure on our farm, many public footpaths to explore but please don’t wander into other fields as we have a variety of livestock. Dogs must stay on a lead at all times on the farm – apart from when enjoying the ‘dog wood’. Even so if you know your dog chases sheep/horses, please keep them on a lead. Dogs showing aggression will be asked to leave.

Campfires must stay in the designated zones & BBQS off the ground.

Instructions for hot tub & wood burning stoves use must be read & adhered to. Any queries - please just ask 😊! Belan Bluebell Woods accepts no responsibility for injury incurred on site.

6. Cars & Campervans

The speed limit on the farm is 5 mph especially as our drive is a public footpath. Visitors only by special arrangement

7. Recycling & Rubbish

As an eco-campsite we aim to ‘leave no trace’ and provide a recycling station. We thankyou ahead of time for separating glass, cans, plastic, paper, cardboard, gas canisters etc. and placing them in the special bins provided by the washing up hut.

9. Campfires & Firewood

Campfires must stay in the designated zones & BBQS off the ground. We reserve the right to ban campfires in the event of a heat wave should the fire risk become too great.

10. Consideration for Others

This is a peaceful, quiet campsite for the enjoyment of nature. We do not allow radios, stereos or other sound systems and only quiet talking is permitted after 10.30pm. Acoustic instruments can be played before then, such as guitars, harmonicas, flutes etc. Noisy visitors who disturb other guests will be asked politely to leave, without refund (this has never needed to happen). If you are out for the night and arrive back late, try to sneak back quietly – ps a torch is useful!

11. Smokers

All the glamping structures and all the undercover facilities are strictly NO SMOKING. If you smoke, do it outside and dispose of your cigarette ends in the campfire or bin.

12. The Weather

Our camp meadow is 1300ft up, it affords us the incredible views & night sky BUT can be subjected to extreme weather conditions. Very strong winds and torrential rain can occur at any time of year, though we are fortunate in that we do not flood. Please note not all our pitches are flat. You must ensure that your tent is robust and correctly erected. We suggest strong tent pegs.

13. Property Loss

Belan Bluebell Woods cannot be held responsible for any lost or stolen property. We have never had an incidence of theft and we very much hope we never do.
